Stephanie Jones, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Stephanie is an experienced speech-language pathologist with a Master’s degree from Northwestern University's Speech, Language, and Learning graduate program. Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. Over the past decade, she has gained extensive experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of speech, language, learning, and swallowing disorders. Her clinical journey has seen her working in diverse environments, including private clinics, therapeutic day programs, and various educational settings such as public, private, and charter schools, ed tech startups, as well as providing home-based services. She is MDTP certified and has training in instructional design, enabling her to create effective, culturally sensitive educational and therapeutic programs.
As an improvisational comedian and coach, Stephanie has created several programs that integrate improv comedy into therapeutic practices. She facilitates workshops and collaborates on materials that leverage improv techniques to support individuals with communication and anxiety disorders.
Stephanie approaches each client relationship with openness, empathy, and acceptance, ensuring a supportive and understanding environment. She is an advocate of evidence-based practice and data-driven decision-making, which she integrates into all treatment plans. Her analytical skills and commitment to considering clients' holistic needs allow her to design personalized intervention programs that resonate with their individual values, interests, strengths, and daily activities.
